I wish I knew how it felt
to have a Valentine
on this day dedicated to lovers
why can’t you be mine?

I’ll miss the chocolate
and the flowers, too
but, what I want most
is to be close to you

I’ll dream of you today
with memories so sweet
and hope on lover’s lane
someday we shall meet.
